A few years ago I planted a young Bramley tree in my little orchard and it quickly settled in and is doing well. I love Bramleys, either to eat off the tree or for cooking, and so far this tree is coming up trumps. I'm getting lovely fruit from it, much of which has gone into the freezer for autumn and winter apple pies and the rest has been devoured already.
This painting is of a selection of this year's apples (2020) in a simple glass bowl. It is drawn on A3 black paper and mounted and framed in a simple black frame.
