Winter

This is a cool painting, the colours bring to mind chilly winter mornings where the frost is thick and breath hangs in the air.  There is a glimmer of hope of spring with the green heads of grasses (my favourite plants!), but overall this painting is about the depth of winter.

This is a small painting, 10cms x 10 cms and it's painmted in oil on canvas board.  It's mounted on a cream mount and framed in a plain black frame, with the overall picture measuriung 26 cms x 26 cms.
